
Steve DeNardo has worked in a
variety of positions in real
estate over the last 24 years.
His first job in real estate was to manage the
Chrysler Building in New York
City where he was responsible
for all leasing and management
issues associated with the 1.5
million square foot complex.
Mr. DeNardo then joined First
Winthrop Corporation where he
was integral to the leasing and
substantial renovation
associated with a 19-building
acquisition that the company had
made in numerous New York City
locations. At Winthrop, Mr.
DeNardo achieved the title of
Partner-in-Charge of the
Commercial Real Estate Division
for the entire company.
Mr. DeNardo left Winthrop to
become first the Vice President
of MONY Real Estate Investment
Management and then finally the
President of Ares Realty
Capital, Inc., a wholly-owned
subsidiary of MONY. While at
MONY, Mr. DeNardo personally
worked on or directly supervised
the acquisition, disposition
and/or restructuring of nearly
$3 billion of transactions
spanning a wide variety of asset
types both nationally and
internationally.
For the two years prior to
forming RiverOak in 1999, Mr.
Denardo was a partner at ING
Realty where he participated in
the acquisition, construction
and disposition of nearly $500
million in real estate assets.
Mr. Denardo obtained a BS in
Accounting from Fairleigh
Dickinson University and has
been a CPA for nearly 30 years.
